Chip and Melissa

This past weekend we kicked off our 3 weddings, 3 weekends in September with my friend Chip's wedding to Melissa in Hudson. Chip and I became friends in Scotland when we shared the same host mom and he is one of my favorite people. I am thrilled that he is so happy and has found a great match. AT the reception we were each given an extensive booklet with information about the couple. One interesting thing I learned about him, that I didn't know, was that he was switch at birth. Luckily he was reunited with his family in the hospital after a short time.

Labor day weekend

This past weekend we went up to Detriot Lakes with my family again. Here is the weekend in pictures. It was a fun, relaxing, cool weekend.

Last week we went to the state fair after work. After a year off we had a whirlwind visit of butter sculptures, animal barns, crop art and run ins with friends.
