Lakewood Chapel tour

Yesterday we went to the Lakewood cemetery chapel and it was truly spectacular. It is relatively small, seemed to me that it might fit 150 people or so, but it is adorned with over 10 million mosaic tiles. The website boasts that many consider it the most perfect example of Byzantine mosaic art in the United States. They were holding tours yesterday because it was the 100 anniversary and the tour guide told us that it cost $25,000 in 1910 (which would obviously be millions and millions now). I have wanted to go for many years, but it is rarely open. Check that off my to-do list.
